Instructions
  1. In a medium pot, bring 1 can of sweetened condensed coconut milk to a slight boil.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and sift in 1/4 cup of cocoa powder and gently stir until well combined. Make sure to sift the cacao powder to prevent clumping. Once combined, pour in another 1/4 of a cup cacao powder, stir and finish with the last 1/4 cup until well combined.
  3. Line a glass pan with plastic wrap and pour the mixture in, it should be well formed and thick. Cover the top with plastic wrap and place in freezer for 15-30 minutes until well combined. If you have more time, you can refrigerate for a few hours.
  4. Remove, slice and enjoy!

If you could please fix the amount of cocoa powder. Your list states 3/4 cup but the instructions say 1/3+1/3+1/3. That equals 1 cup. Thanks!

Hi Donna, thanks for catching that! Our apologies. The recipe calls for 3/4 cup cacao powder and you can add it in 1/4 increments. Mostly just to stop the clumping. Thank you!

Hey there, LOVE my Let’s Do Organic creamed coconut! How much of that would I use and how much milk to mimic the thickness of condensed milk? I am keto and want to add my own non-nutritive natural sweeteners instead. TY for Your great products and recipes. Is there a place I can find out how the creamed coconut is processed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Becky, So happy you’re a fan of our Let’s Do Organic Creamed Coconut! We’ve never made a recipe turning the creamed coconut into sweetened condensed coconut milk before but we think one package of our creamed coconut mixed with a granulated or powdered non-nutritive sweetener would work for this. Hope this helps, let us know the result!
