Curried Jackfruit Burgers

Yellow Curry Jackfruit Burgers
Saucy and fragrant yellow curried jackfruit tossed with aeromatic celery and onions, fluffy quinoa and chickpea flour made into patties.

Turned into burger patties and then tossed in a hot cast iron skillet until irresistible crispy edges form and topped with vegan raita!
To create Native Forest Yellow Curry Organic Young Jackfruit, we combine organic young jackfruit with organic coconut milk and regional organic spices, following time-tested family recipes.
Burger Ingredients:
Raita Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup plain vegan yogurt
  • 1/2 cup diced cucumber
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  1. Add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil to an oven safe cast iron pan or skillet over medium heat. Sauté the onions and celery until softened. Add in the garlic and sauté for another 60 seconds. Transfer to a bowl.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix well. Form into patties and add back to the pan with the remaining coconut oil. Cook until browned on both sides. Transfer to a 350 degree oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  3. Stir together all the raita ingredients and serve with buns, cilantro, and lettuce.
