Shells & Chreese® Casserole

1 large white onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, chopped
3-4 tbs. earth balance margarine
4-5 slices of bread (your choice)
2 boxes of Shells and Chreese

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
  • Prepare Shells and Chreese like normal.
  • While water is boiling, fry the onion in the margarine until very brown. Add the garlic about halfway through.
  • If this is done before the pasta is done cooking, turn off heat and set aside.
  • When the Shells and Chreese is prepared, pour it in a Pyrex pan, 9 by 12 works well.
  • Pour the onion and garlic on top and stir to mix everything well.
  • Crumble the bread slices on top, drizzle with some olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  • Bake till bread crumbs are golden brown. Yum!
